The historic Mayview Gun Club was founded in the early 1800’s in Blowing Rock North Carolina. The club was a top destination for jetsetting tourists throughout the entire United States. In the height of it’s popularity, Mayview Gun Club hosted celebrities like Annie Oakley who would hold monthly shooting exhibitions for its patrons!

In early 2011 Mark Scruggs came up with the idea to use the namesake of the Mayview Gun Club, but to transform it into a world class all inclusive hunting and fishing destination. Now the Mayview Rod and Gun Club offers some of the finest fishing and hunting excursions in the country.
